2017; Duration 27minute; A documentary that focuses on how the Israeli Occupation affects the Palestinian population of today. The story is told by Christian-Palestinians to include the Mayor of Bethlehem, Mrs.Vera Baboun. Their interviews shed light on a different perspective of the conflict that we don't hear about in the American media. Come and witness the Christmas celebration and hopeful spirit of those in the walled city of Bethlehem. This film conveys a message of peace, along with an inclusive solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict; country Israel.
I love that a movie about this is being made, but I wish the marketing did not work towards the Christian movie trend. Cinematically, movies in this genre have been less than great, lots of the time even bad. I'm a Christian, and I wish Christians would make a better name for themselves in cinema than these evangelical branches have. Show it for what it is, without shoving heavy-handed messages and CCM down our throats, and I'm convinced the Christian message will still shine through powerfully.
30,000 More likes than dislikes at the time of this post. Sure goes to show what the majority thinks.
I love how everyone is saying “thank you mom for not aborting me” and saying that abortion is bad and evil and just plain wrong. If you are so proud to be anti-abortion then please tells me how many children have you adopted that needed a home? A family. how many children have you helped that are going through foster care? How many children have you stood up for when you see them being physically, mentally, and sexually abused in a family who wasnt ready for them? Good for you for having a great life in a family who loved you and was ready to lay their lives down for you but the reality is that so many children probably wish they hadnt been born because of the terrible life they are growing up in. Tell me are you the type of person that would help a single 19 year old mother take care of her baby while she went to school without conditions? Because I know single young mothers and half of them dont have the help when they have so many people in her life that can help. What about the women who were raped? Forced to have children in a toxic/abusive relationship? What about women who know that the pregnancy could kill her causing this baby to no longer have a mother? The reason its a choice for all women is because the whole world is not full of great people. Open your eyes and realize that not everyone on this planet are “angels”. Fathers leave, pregnancies become life or death, families become dangerous, pregnancies happen because some rapist couldnt keep it in his pants, babies get deathly sick and may not survive the birth itself. Stand up and speak for the children that are already here and leave these women to make their own damn choice. Its their bodies, not yours. You were lucky enough to have a great, loving, prepared family, good for you. I personally feel that if its a bad situation you should be allowed the right to choose. “No unborn baby wants to die” well no living child wants to be abused or without a family either.
Its Sunday, March 31st. My husband and I saw the film on Thursday. This evening, we are taking my Dad along and my husband and I are seeing it a second time. All 3 of us used to be “pro-choice.” All 3 of us have had 180 conversions on this issue and we are now pro-life from conception to natural death. This film has the power to change hearts and minds. FYI: back from the movie and the theater was packed.
Went to the theatre to see this today, but noticed that Unplanned wasnt on the list of showings. I asked the worker about it and she said that the projectors were down and they werent showing it for the day. I go to the same theatre all the time, and Ive never heard of any broken projectors in the past. it just seemed fishy. Oh my goodness everyone is calling it murder. I dont know much and not enough fact about anything and I havent even watched the movie but like it seems like people are being extremely rude to eachother. Can we just share our opinions kindly? Please. I feel personally like I wouldnt get an abortion but thats only for My perspective. there probably are some circumstances 🤷🏼♀️ but like idk yet Im just PERSONALLY not in favor of it but Im not going to be shoving my opinions on other people like “here! Take it! Agree with me or else!”.
I look forward towards seeing this movie, Ive heard its incredible. Just saw this movie. Its really good and emotional. I highly recommend it.
Im glad my mum din,t arbort mum and dad. Just watching this trailer, made me cry. 😭. Dang sounds like a deep movie! Can't wait to see it. Why haven't I seen or heard anything about this movie in the last month but Captain Marvel was everywhere. I'm gonna watch this film, I'm gonna watch it, support it, and tell everyone I know about it.
Say hello to all Christian in palestine. Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine. Surely, One of the best and heart touching movie of 2019. מַשֹּׂא. I came across an article from the Times Of Israel about a genetic study of Jews and Palestinians actually sharing 90% DNA could it be a possibility that they could be lost tribes? It was rather interesting. It seems the situation is far more complex than meets the eye. The daughter of Abby Johnson goes to my school. I too was one he didn't know of the First Christians, then I met here Keferbe, his user name taken from his town in southern Turkey, he obviously fled the religious persecution the Turks have against anyone non-muslim, then there's a christian man from Nazareth, Ossama, through him I learned of the beautiful Church in Nazareth that his family and he attend and now you Andre, thank you for the brief history lesson here and the glimpse of your land, greetings from Mexico.
Thank you Lord! All praise and worship belongs to you 😍.
